New Season, New Friends, New Responsibilities!!

So it's time for Scrapzville again! And thank Baby Buddha for that!!! I was getting far too lazy altogether! Kept looking at my stash and mum's stash thinking I need to do something!!

There's been a big change around this August, but with change you've got to up your game and concentrate on being your best! Getting my A-game on!!! Also I've got huge plans to sort before November and get a collection painted. It'll be fun.. stressful fun :)

Looking forward to the next few scrappy months :)

Summer is over..

Leaves are already turning orange,red and yellow and it's my FAVOURITE time of year. Im so looking forward to tea parties while the rain beats against the window, soup, books, the stove being lit all day long and taking photos of the changing forest and a thousand other things I love about autumn. That and its nearly Hallowe'en.... Excitement 100%

So many changes are happening all of a sudden and its only fitting that this blog gets a change too! or perhaps just a visit every now and again- im such a bad blogger!!

Looking forward to a new season and therefore new projects- knitting,quilting,photography and general cosiness.

My Week so far...

has been eventful to say the least- While Robyn has been away we have been watering her garden- this is how its coming along :)

We also went to the beach and had a lovely time- though had an accident on the way home :( nothing major at all, but I have to wear a silly sling (so I tarted it up) :)

Hope you are all enjoying this fab weather- this has taken ages to write with one hand!!!! :)

Paper folding layout, happened by accident but looks well I think :)

Im working on a 12x12 scrapbook for myself, along with a mini book and sketching- Im only discovering Copic Markers, they are the fabulous colours!! I'll post pictures when I figure out how to send them straight from my iPhone!haha xx

Firstly I Distressed (Fired Brick) my pages (thanks to Louise's tutorial ;)), and then I decorated with goodies I had left over from the May Design Team kit and Tim Coffey Blossomwood flowers and bird. Crafting Outside and Summer Changes...

Who isn't enjoying this gorgeous weather?! So yesterday I spent the afternoon crafting outside- experimenting with Distress Inks and this evening it is on my agenda to use Perfect Pearls :)
Tomorrow I start my new healthy diet and gruelling excercise regime with Sean. He is the fittest person and I just feel so lazy not doing anything! It'll be fun... I hope!! (So I'm making the most of that tub of Hagen-Das in the freezer later!!) We are doing tonnes of cardio, weights and I'm hopefully going to get some swimming started too. We've also changed the diet, no more late night snacking and plenty of water! Summer looming just makes you want to revamp everything! :)

Today's Work..

.. consists of making 10 painted T-Shirts for Thursday night!
All of my friends have finished their exams for college and we are all heading to Cork to party!! Now I wonder where I'd get fabric paint....

Last Night's Nightmare

I woke up this morning crying from the most horrid of dreams :( I was trying to be kept in this really huge, scary house by a horrible man and when I had the chance to escape all I could think of was the fact that I had left my craft bag in the sitting room. So I obviously had to go back and get it. What can I say? Even in nightmares, crafting comes first!!
ps- I got out, craft bag intact, it had an alright ending I suppose....

April's mini at last!!

I've been so behind on posting stuff! So here (finally) is last months mini for Christine. It was my first mini ever and am very proud of it!! :) Have started on May's mini, for AnnMarie and I'm nice and full after lunch with Mum. Lovely pear crumble and coffee in the Vanilla Pod, yum yum :) I'm hoping to start a healthy diet for summer- but the crumble :)

Anyway here are my photos for April - hopefully I'll get Mays photos up in May :)

Off to Cork tomorrow to buy a dress :)

This week I'm...

..still flu ridden, I'm really hoping I can get rid of it myself, I don't think I could stand anymore antibiotics :( I slept for 16 hours last night and I'm already looking forward to a nap.... :(

But happy knowing that I've got my projects up to date. I've been working on my mini for may, on a 12x12 vintage scrapbook for my boyfriends mum Carmel. Its exciting working with new techniques and with their old photos! I've also got great plans for the design team kit and I'm hoping I can stop sleeping so much to get started!! I'm hoping to start my own personal photography soon. Maybe when the weather picks up!! And I'm on a mission to get an iPhone. I think it would complete me :)

I'm also contemplating a new tattoo, my nana probably wont be too thrilled :P, but I'm really looking forward to going to Cork with my buddies and getting inked!! I have the image all ready to go :) Cannot wait to show it off!! :)
Will post plenty of photos when I find camera- it's in this mess somewhere! Probably in the pile of wool or under a paper stack!.............. hang on....nope still missing :(

Was actually beginning to think that we were just going to have winter all year round! It has been a sad weekend as our favourite bar and restaurant The Granary closed and now we have no where to dance to Fat Boy Slim:( My Friends and I may just have to start our own club!!
Going to Mum's Birthday party this evening- and I'm going to wear flip flops! :)
Have been sketching alot the past few days, maybe it has something to do with the weather I dont know but have come up with a few great ideas for this months swap mini!
Am going to get to work on that asap!!
Yay for the sun! Please still be around when I have days off!!

Am feeling poorly this evening, so have ignored the washing, put on Glee and am going to work on my Top Secret Project :)

So on Thursday we got together and worked on individual projects, here are some images of my very first 'toilet roll' album.I was really pleased with the end results and have now become quite addicted! I've stolen all the toilet rolls i can get my hands on!!:)
